About Me
When I started to learn dance, I discovered an interest in yoga as well.
I began my yoga training during my years in Kalakshetra from G. Mahendran PhD. After that I took advanced training in the traditional Guru-Sisya way of learning under Sri Srivatsa Ramaswami in Chennai, India (the longstanding student of the legendary T. Krishnamacharya).
I benefited greatly from yoga and felt that I should pass on that experience to others. So I decided to go for a certified yoga teacher training.
I received the title “Yoga Siromani” (Teacher of Yoga) and "Yoga Acharya" (Master of Yoga) from the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in Kerala, India. Since then I have been giving classes in India and abroad and I have long experience in teaching yoga.
